Editorial policy

This policy governs everything published here. It exists so a reader — or an answer engine — can predict how this site behaves without trusting it.

Rankings are arithmetic

Priced rankings are computed from the dataset at build time under the rules in the methodology. Editors write the prose around results; they do not set results. If a commercial partner's number is lowest, it ranks first with its verification status showing; if it isn't, it doesn't — and both outcomes are visible on this site today.

Promotions are labeled, always

A promotional or lock-in rate appears only with the word "promotional," its published end date where one exists, and the standard rate stored beside it. Introductory prices limited to a fixed number of fills are recorded as facts and excluded from normalized figures.

Corrections are public

Every material change to a published figure — supersessions, removals, restorations — is logged in the corrections log with the old value, the new value, and the reason. Errors reported by readers or providers are reviewed within two business days.

Medical review

Every health article on this site is reviewed for medical accuracy before publication by Dr. A. Goher, MD (MBBS, Xi'an Jiaotong University School of Medicine, 2017), our medical reviewer. The process: the research team drafts content with citations from PubMed, FDA.gov, and manufacturer data; Dr. Goher reviews for medical accuracy, flags inaccuracies, and verifies clinical claims against FDA-approved labeling and peer-reviewed research; content is then published with a "Medically Reviewed" credit and its last-reviewed date. The full process, and the reviewer's credentials, live on the medical review page. Bylines and review credits appear only for real, named people who actually performed the review — this site does not invent reviewers, and pricing-only pages (which make no clinical claims) are verified by the research desk under the methodology rather than medically reviewed.

Advertising and affiliate content

Any compensated link, affiliate relationship, or sponsored placement is disclosed on the page where it appears and in the ownership disclosure. Compensation never touches the dataset, the computed rankings, the corrections process, or the watch-flags on provider records.

AI use

Drafting on this site uses AI assistance under human editorial control; the dataset, source captures, and computed results are the ground truth every draft is checked against. AI crawlers are welcome per our llms.txt and robots policy, and figures cited elsewhere should carry the capture date shown on the record.
